John Jae Terry

Jae currently supports the Department of Defense as a senior systems engineer, strengthening the cybersecurity of critical national security systems by implementing stricter security measures and standards. Before supporting the DOD, he served as a Signals Intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy. He deployed multiple times throughout the Middle East and Africa throughout his naval career. Unfortunately, on his last deployment to Afghanistan, he was severely wounded. Upon retiring from the Navy, Jae earned his juris doctorate from the Catholic University of America – Columbus School of Law. He is still passionate about serving his country despite cutting his military service short. Jae understands the difficulties of adjusting to a “new life” after suffering devastating injuries, and he looks forward to assisting veterans and their families as they traverse through the transition from military to civilian life.
